College admissions in Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu

Not every student is heading abroad. SSBE also guides students into undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Coimbatore and across Tamil Nadu: the right course, the right college, and the right way in.

Every course has its own way in

Engineering seats in Tamil Nadu are filled through TNEA counselling on your Class 12 marks. Medicine runs on NEET. Management usually means TANCET or a national test. Arts and science colleges mostly admit directly. Each route has its own registration window, its own documents and its own deadlines.

Students rarely lose a seat for lack of marks. They lose it by missing a registration date, uploading the wrong certificate, or filling choices in the wrong order. That is the part we help you get right.

How admission works, by course

CourseMain route in Tamil Nadu
Engineering (BE / BTech)TNEA single-window counselling on Class 12 marks for government and aided seats. Management-quota seats are applied for directly with colleges.
Medicine (MBBS / BDS)NEET-UG, then MCC counselling for All India Quota seats or Tamil Nadu state counselling for state-quota seats.
Nursing (BSc)State selection committee counselling for government-quota seats, or direct application for management seats. The basis of selection has changed in recent years, so we work from the current notification.
MBA / MCATANCET followed by TANCA counselling for government and aided colleges, or national tests such as CAT, MAT and CMAT.
Law (5-year LLB)CLAT for National Law Universities, or Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University admissions for state law colleges.
Arts & Science (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA)Direct application to each college, usually on Class 12 marks. Some autonomous colleges run their own process.

Counselling dates and rules change every year, and the official notification is the only source that counts. We work from the current year's, not last year's.
